match in 6,000 years of sky
September 23, 2017 — Jerusalem
The Prophecy
In Revelation 12:1–2, the Apostle John describes a celestial picture visible from Jerusalem: the constellation Virgo (the woman) standing with the Sun across her body ("clothed with the sun"), the Moon beneath her feet, and Jupiter — the King Planet — in her womb. Above her, planets in Leo join its stars to form a crown of twelve.
This is not vague symbolism. It is a precise astronomical configuration that either happens in the sky — or it doesn't. The question: how often?
The Date
On September 23, 2017, the sky over Jerusalem displayed exactly what John described. The Sun was in Virgo. The Moon was at Virgo's feet. Jupiter — which had been "in the womb" of Virgo for approximately 9 months — was in position. Venus, Mars, and Mercury formed a crown in Leo.
It was the first time in over 1,000 years that all four elements appeared together, visible from the exact city where John received the vision.
The Verification
This calculator uses simplified orbital mechanics to scan 6,000 years of history and find every date where the configuration appears. The results are unambiguous: out of over 2 million days checked, only September 23, 2017 matches.
The "Verify Against JPL" button confirms the result using NASA's high-precision Horizons Ephemeris system — the same data used by spacecraft navigation.
What We're Looking For
Four elements must align simultaneously. All four conditions must be true on the same day.
